Biography:

Thomas M. Murtha practices in the area of civil litigation and real estate law. His practice focuses on the defense of clients in diverse cases, including claims of construction litigation, product liability, errors and omissions, professional liability, municipal liability and law enforcement liability.

He has handled many cases involving municipal and private clients relating to employment issues, including sexual assault and sexual harassment claims.

Tom regularly donates his time and experience to the Fairfield Superior Court as an Attorney Trial Referee and Special Master handling pending civil claims.

He is also regularly selected to serve as an arbitrator to help in the resolution of claims through the use of alternate dispute resolution.
